Which beliefs qualify as being anthropocentric?

Is anthropocentrism only the belief that Humans are more important than all other life, or is it also anthropocentric if you believe that Humans are equally as important as other life instead of inferior? Is respecting Human existence really the same thing as supporting the exploitation and destruction of the rest of life on Earth? If it is really so arrogant to regard Humans as being equals with other animals instead of evolution's worst mistake that deserve to be wiped out by a second holocaust, then so be it.
